Since 2019, the Aquaculture Stewardship Council and VerifiK8 have established a strong partnership to collect data and monitor improvement in social and environmental areas in aquaculture. As a first step, an AIP (Aquaculture Improvement Project) was carried out to monitor environmental and social impacts through a web and mobile application, and to empower smallholder shrimp aquaculture farmers in Vietnam Mekong Delta.
